SOFT CONTEMPORARY STYLE HOMES
Contemporary homes are known for their stark lines and rectangular elements. Exposed concrete, single glass panes, and wood siding are common elements that define the style. A Soft Contemporary is a softening on these stark lines, with cozier interiors and the use of warmer materials such as hardwood rather than steel or marble.
TUSCAN CRAFTSMAN STYLE HOMES
Tuscan Craftsman Style Homes combine modern elements with classic Italian design. Similar to Mediterranean, the Tuscan Craftsman typically features stucco exteriors with stone accents, terracotta roof tiles, tall windows with shutters and enclosed courtyards. Colors typically rely heavily on warm earthy hues that reflect the Tuscan hillsides.
RANCH STYLE HOMES
Ranch Style Homes are an American staple and can be seen in neighborhoods throughout the country. The one-story homes feature a low roofline, simple open floor plans, small porches, and attached garages—often including materials reflective of the region such as brick or wood siding. Today, there are more features that can be included in your modern ranch home such as, master bedroom suites, spa-style bathrooms, walk-in closets, mother-in-law suites, spacious kitchens, in-home office spaces, and ample patio spaces. The style lends itself to flexibility and can be customized for any family configuration.
Mediterranean-style homes originated in countries north of the Mediterranean Sea including, Italy, Spain and Greece. This style may also be referred to as Spanish Modern. The most distinctive characteristics of this style include a low-pitched red tile roof, outdoor living areas, columns, arched windows and openings, and wrought iron balconies. The finish is usually stucco, done in colors of the sea and sky.
